How does The Motley Fool choose award winners?
The 2022 award winners are determined by a Motley Fool voting panel of 16 editorial and investing experts.
The awards process is designed to ensure objectivity, include diverse opinions, and recognize the best of the best. There are two voting stages to ensure a sound process: an initial nomination round followed by a selection of the final award winners.
The Motley Fool’s team of editorial and investing experts first source nominations and then narrow them down to the top three candidates for each award. The Motley Fool’s awards committee then votes on the nominees in each category using a points allocation process and adhering to our Foolish awards methodology (which is detailed on each award category page).
