The Chase Ink Business Preferred welcome bonus
I won't keep you in suspense. The Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card has a welcome bonus of 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after spending $8,000 on purchases within the first 3 months.
Of course, this is a rather high spending threshold compared to some other credit cards, but many small businesses spend heavily on things like travel, shipping, and office supplies, so it might be easier to achieve than you think, if you get strategic about how you pay for business expenses.
The default value of the rewards points (for cash back) is $0.01 per point, so you can get $1,000 cash back from the bonus -- plus whatever points you would earn normally for spending $8,000.
However, if the points are redeemed for travel through the Chase Travel portal, they get an additional 25% in value (so, $0.0125 per point). This effectively makes the bonus worth $1,250 toward travel purchases like flights and hotel stays.
Points can also be transferred to a variety of hotel and airline partners, and it's possible to extract even more value this way.
Benefits and features of the Chase Ink Business Preferred
You can read our full Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card review for a thorough rundown of its benefits, but here are the key things to know about:
The Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card has an excellent rewards program, earning 3 points per $1 on travel, shipping, online advertising purchases, and on internet, cable, and phone services. This rate applies to as much as $150,000 in purchases per year. It earns 5 points per $1 on Lyft rides through March 2025 and 1 point per $1 on everything else.
The card offers several travel and purchase protections, including cellphone insurance for any employees listed on your phone bill that is paid with the card.
If you spend a lot of money in the card's bonus categories, the rewards could easily justify the $95 annual fee several times over.

Is it right for you?
The Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card offers one of the most generous welcome bonuses we've seen, especially at its $95 annual fee price point. Of course, it's not necessarily a good idea to apply for a new credit card just for the welcome offer, but this is a credit card that has an excellent rewards program with bonus categories specifically designed to generate value for small businesses. It could certainly be worth a closer look if your business spends enough money to qualify for the welcome bonus.
