The Mastercard concierges are sort of like personal assistants. They can help you with a range of requests, including:
- Purchasing gifts
- Ordering flowers
- Dining reservations
- Booking golf tee times
- Buying event tickets
- Using exclusive Mastercard discounts
While the Mastercard concierges can also help you with a few travel-related tasks, most of the heavy lifting in that department is not done by the concierge. Instead, you use the Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle Services.
What are the Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle Services?
The Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle Services provide assistance with travel-related requests. This includes helping you plan and book your travel. You also get:
- Professional travel services: Chat with a Lifestyle Manager 24/7
- City guides: Detailed guides on dozens of destinations around the world
- Mastercard airport concierge: A 15% discount on meet-and-greet services at 700-plus airports
- Mastercard Hotel Stay Guarantee: A Lifestyle Manager helps solve any problems if you book your three-star or higher hotel stay through Mastercard.
- Lowest Hotel Rate Guarantee: If you find a lower price on a prepaid hotel stay booked through Mastercard, they refund the difference.
- Mastercard luxury hotel and resorts portfolio: Get exclusive deals and discounts on over 3,000 properties.
- Exclusive freebies: Cardholders may be eligible for free hotel nights, car rental upgrades, or discounts on air travel.
One thing to note: Mastercard is not directly responsible for bookings. Travel bookings are made through Ten Lifestyle Management Limited, the designated travel agent for Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle Services.
How to use the Mastercard concierge
You use the concierge services by simply contacting them with your request. The exact contact information you use depends on the type of Mastercard.
You can see what type of Mastercard you have by looking for the Mastercard logo in the lower right-hand corner of your card. If you have a World or World Elite Mastercard, your card will typically have a silver Mastercard logo with the words "World" or "World Elite" written above it. Some older cards may have the regular Mastercard logo on the front and say "World" or "World Elite" on the back. Regular Mastercards tend to have a colorized logo with no other words.
For World Elite Mastercard Concierge services, call 877-288-6784.
For World Mastercard Concierge services, call 888-531-4227.
Online, you can use the Mastercard Concierge website to browse your benefits:
Alternatively, you can download the Mastercard Concierge mobile app:
Note that the apps don't have the greatest reviews. A big part of this is that many people aren't aware that Citi credit cards do not offer access to the Mastercard concierge service (more on that below).
How to use the Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle Services
Similar to the concierges, you can get in touch with a Lifestyle Manager by phone or online. There is not currently an app for the Travel and Lifestyle Services. The phone number and website are the same, regardless of which type of Mastercard you own.
To contact a Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle manager, call 855-802-1387.
You can also use the Mastercard concierge services through the Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle Services website. You need to register your card to use the online services.
How long does it take to get an answer from the Mastercard concierge?
How long it takes to get help from a Mastercard concierge or Lifestyle Manager depends on the nature of your request. Simple questions can likely be answered right away. More complicated requests, such as multi-day travel bookings, may take longer.
Is the Mastercard concierge free to use?
The World and World Elite concierges are free to use, as are the Travel and Lifestyle Services. However, any purchases that the agents make on your behalf will be charged to your Mastercard credit card.
So, if you use the World Elite Concierge to have flowers delivered, the cost of the flowers is charged to your credit card. Similarly, if the Lifestyle Manager books your vacation for you, the cost of the bookings is charged to your registered Mastercard credit card.
You can't use your credit card rewards to pay for purchases made through either service. In other words, if you want to use credit card points to book your travel, you need to go through your issuer instead of the Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle Services agent.

Which cards offer Mastercard concierge services?
The types of cards that can use Mastercard's different concierge and assistance services vary by service. Most World and World Elite Mastercards are eligible for the Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle Services. This includes some of our top-rated cards:
Access to the World Mastercard Concierge and World Elite Mastercard Concierge is a bit more complicated. For these services, access depends on which bank issues your credit card. Most, if not all, World and World Elite Mastercards issued by banks other than Citi have access to the concierge services. So, you could choose a credit card from any number of banks and still get access.
