A clear fit for frequent JetBlue flyers, but the card's value is pretty limited beyond that target market. Many other airline cards have similar rewards, but with far bigger sign-up bonuses.

This credit card is a good fit for: JetBlue fliers who are new to rewards credit cards and want a rewards card with no annual fee.
These are the top highlights of the JetBlue Card.
This card doesn't have an annual fee. If you're new to using airline rewards cards, it will be nice not to worry about paying an annual fee.

The JetBlue Card does have a bonus points offer for new cardmembers. After spending $1,000 within the first 90 days of owning the card, you'll earn 10,000 points. While a bonus points offer is a nice perk, this one is not as generous as other airline cards.
You'll be rewarded for your spending when using this card.
Here's a breakdown of how the JetBlue Card earns rewards:

You'll save 50% on eligible in-flight food and drink purchases on JetBlue-operated flights. Eligible purchases include beer, cocktails, and meals. Savings are in the form of statement credit posted to your account. If you enjoy ordering beverages or food while in the air, this is an attractive card perk that can save you some money.
When you spend money with the JetBlue Card, you'll get closer to achieving elite status. Mosaic, JetBlue's elite status level, can be earned when you earn 50 tiles. When you spend money with your JetBlue Card, you'll earn one tile for every $1,000 spent. If you spend $50,000 with your credit card, you can achieve Mosaic status, which offers extra benefits to improve your flying experience, like early boarding and two free checked bags.
No foreign transaction fees are charged when using this card in other countries. If you like to travel internationally and plan to use this card on your trips, you won't have to worry about additional fees. Typically, credit card issuers charge 3% for foreign transaction fees.

The JetBlue Card promotes an introductory balance transfer APR of 0%, 12 billing cycles, available to new cardmembers. This is only valid for balance transfers, not new card purchases. Balance transfers must be posted to your account within 45 days of account opening. A go-to APR of 21.24%, 25.24% or 29.99%, variable applies after the intro period ends. The balance transfer fee is 5% ($5 min.) per transfer.
If you have credit card debt you want to pay off, this gives you plenty of time to do so without incurring additional interest charges.
The JetBlue Card has some areas of improvement worth noting.
While the JetBlue Card offers bonus points to new cardmembers who meet the minimum spend, this bonus offer is not competitive compared to other airline credit cards. The 10,000 points you earn won't get you very far. The points required to redeem for a flight are tied to JetBlue's cash rate. Redemption amounts will also be lower when rates are lower or there are airfare deals.
To give you a general idea, 10,000 points will probably only get you a single one-way Blue fare ticket, which allows you to bring a personal item and carry-on bag. If you book a discounted fare and use points, you may be able to get a round-trip Blue fare ticket. Use JetBlue's best fare finder tool to find the most affordable dates to fly to maximize your redemption.
Other airline cards, even some without an annual fee, offer a free baggage allowance. This card doesn't offer any free baggage perks. This is a notable concern, especially because JetBlue's cheapest fare option, Blue Basic, doesn't include a carry-on bag except for flights to and from the U.K. and Europe. The next fare level, Blue, includes a carry-on bag but not a checked bag.
The JetBlue Card doesn't offer an anniversary bonus. That means there's no bonus points incentive to continue to carry this card in your wallet. The JetBlue Plus Card, which costs $99 annually, offers this perk.
This credit card is intended for consumers with good to excellent credit. Applicants will have a better chance of securing approval for the JetBlue Card with a FICO® Score of 670 or higher. Keep in mind other factors are also considered, such as income and current debt. It could be possible to get approved with a lower credit score -- or be denied with a higher score.
If you already fly with JetBlue and want to earn rewards on your spending without paying an annual fee, the JetBlue Card might be ideal for you.
If the following statements apply to you, then you should consider applying for the JetBlue Card:
But if you prefer a higher bonus points offer, want free baggage perks, or want a card that offers an anniversary bonus, this is not the right card for you. Instead, another travel or airline card from our best credit cards list may be a better option.
