How you earn it: Open a new Webull individual brokerage account and fund it with between $500 and $24,999.99. You have to act during this promotional period. After you've had your account funded for at least 30 days, you'll get to claim 20 free fractional shares of stock.
How you qualify: You must be a first-time Webull client, and the money has to stay in your account for at least 30 days to be eligible. The amount you deposit has to be at least $500, and if it's less than $25,000, you'll earn 20 free fractional shares. Each will be valued between $3 and $3000. You need to claim your rewards from the "My Rewards" page on the Webull site within 30 days of reaching the end of your 30-day new account period.
That's right, there's a contest aspect to this promotion. The majority of bonus recipients (92%) will receive shares worth $3, and the remaining 8% could receive shares worth anywhere from $4 (4%) all the way up to $3,000 (0.01%).
Details: This is a pretty solid bonus, and receiving free fractional shares can make it easier for new investors without a lot of money to own a tiny piece of a company. Webull is one of our favorite stock brokers and receives high marks for not charging commissions. It also has an excellent mobile trading platform. Note that Webull charges a fee of $8 to deposit money by wire, so watch how you fund your account.

How you earn it: Open a new individual brokerage account with Webull and fund it with at least $25,000, during the promotional period. Leave the account funded for at least 30 days, and you'll be rewarded with 75 free fractional shares of stock.
How you qualify: You have to be a first-time Webull client, and need a significant amount of money available to open your account. Plus, you need to have it in the account for at least 30 days. The 75 fractional shares you'll receive will be worth between $3 and $3000, and it varies.
A large majority of the shares being given away will be worth $3 (92%, in fact). But you also have a shot at receiving some shares worth between $4 and $3,000. The percentages for these higher-value shares are a lot smaller of course -- Webull says that just 0.01% of the free shares will be worth $3,000.
Details: The higher end of the bonus is also worth it, but it's a lot less accessible for new investors without a lot of capital to put in. That said, if you're starting off with $25,000 or more to invest, you might already be an experienced stock trader.
In that case, you'll find a lot to like about Webull -- it focuses on active traders and doesn't offer a lot of educational resources for newbies. Day trading isn't really in line with The Motley Fool's investing philosophy, but Webull is one of our picks for the best brokers for day trading.

Webull introduces new bonuses every so often. Check back on this page, because we'll keep it updated.
Getting free stock shares when you open a new brokerage account is a good deal. Plus, Webull has one of the best free stock trading apps. And despite Webull's focus on active traders, if you already know a lot about investing and want to actively manage a long-term sort of investment account (such as an IRA), it could be a good fit for you. The bonus just sweetens things even more.
We recommend comparing brokerage options to ensure the account you're selecting is the best fit for you. To make your search easier, here's a short list of our best trading platforms of 2024.
For the current round of account bonuses, it only takes 30 days to be eligible to claim your free fractional shares.
In the case of new account bonuses, you are sadly only eligible once -- when you open your first Webull account. That said, this brokerage might offer bonuses in the future that current clients can claim (such as those for referring new investors).
