Prepare yourselves, Fools! If you own shares of Greenbrier (GBX 0.10%), CalAmp (CAMP +0.00%), or McCormick & Co. (MKC 4.52%), you've got a wild week ahead of you. That's because all three of these companies have a high number of shares being shorted, and all three are reporting earnings.

But I don't think you should try to "time" the market to make a quick buck. That's not a Foolish way to invest, and there's no way to tell if these volatile moves will be up or down.
